Minor Pentatonics

To use the Minor Pentatonics, aim for the Chord Tones (Root, 3rd and fifth) and use the other notes as flavour.

The Minor Pentatonics can be used over the relative minor of the root scale (ie if in C the relative minor is three semi-tones aka three frets lower.  Or they can be used over the Major scale as long as the feeling of the song is in the Blues, Blues Rock or Country Rock, and particularly if the Major I is is changed to a dominant chord with a b7.
